Sometimes writing a short, simple mini memoir of your experiences is preferable to writing a full length, in-depth memoir.

You might want to compile a series of anecdotes on a particular subject, for instance, such as stories about your pet. Or you might want to write about one specific event, such as a wedding or bat mitzvah.

Life lessons also make excellent mini memoirs. You might want to write vignettes about each lesson you want to pass on to your children or grandchildren, chronicling how you came by each pearl of wisdom.

I offer one-on-one and group classes to help you write your own mini-memoir. Using your photographs to stimulate your memories, we'll write short reminiscences. We'll also use a variety of fun exercises to help you go beneath the surface events of your life to find underlying meaning that deepens your stories.

Mini-memoir classes make great gifts,

party activities,

and senior home enrichment programs.
